Household food insecurity and children dietary diversity during the COVID-19 outbreak

The COVID-19 pandemic raises the likelihood of food insecurity and affects nutritional status children. This study aims to examine relationship between household poverty children's dietary diversity. cross-sectional has done at Lhokseumawe City North Aceh District. A sample 289 children aged 12–59 months participated in this study. Food Insecurity Experience Scale (FIES) was used measure insecurity. Meanwhile, Individual Dietary Diversity Score (IDDS) assess Chi-square employed analyze association prevalence 8,3%, consisting 5,5% moderate 2,8% severe Most had diverse consumption (88,6%). However, 11,4% low Household significantly correlated with diversity (p= 0,002).
